Little Words

I was mindlessly staring into the computer screen trying to let my brain settle down and I happened to come back to reality in time to hear this little conversation ...

LmG: You see that picture?
BbD: Yeah Yeah!
LmG : That's me when I was a baby
BbD: You were a baby?
LmG: Yeah once upon a time I was
BbD: WOW


I just sat here staring at them standing on the couch looking at a selection of baby pictures I have hung on the wall of the littles. Kind of in awe, kind of surprised and defiantly teary eyed. I wonder what else they talk about when I am around or when they don't think I am listening.

Happy Fourth Birthday Baby Bear

What I use to call LMG when he was a baby ... Baby Bear. In fact everyone started calling him that. Some how some way over the last four years he grew out of that. Makes me tear up a little thinking about it. SHH! Don't tell anyone but when I go in to check on him in the middle of the night and make sure he's snug as a rug... I whisper in his ear " I love you baby bear"

I have been really busy with work and other distractions these days and have been forgetting to upload my littles works of art. So here we go I present you lmG Preschool art. Ten messy little fingers and I am sure paint brushes went into making these . I need to decorate the house for Valentines day so I think since I have so many of these laying in a drawer I may use them to make some type of cupid day garland or  cut out heart shapes and have the boys send valentines to their cousins. Not sure, but I need to get started on that if I am going to finish in time.

Just because I have been so lazy these days as far as blogging goes does not mean I forgot to post a picture of this cute little box LMG made for E and I for Christmas this year. It was very sweet to open up his wrapped gift this year and see this cute little box. Bejeweled with shiny gems and him dressed up as a reindeer no less. This is Gabriel's first official  Christmas gift he has made for us while at school. Something to treasure forever.

Preschool PowWow

 The Busy Bee's hosted a Thanksgiving feast and powwow at G's school last Thursday. I was so pleased to be able to take time off of work and  have a lunch date with my little guy. They sang songs about Thanksgiving  and they also did a dance performance. I was surprised when LMG stood up and cut a rug for everyone, well not really he loves to dance and perform.

Breakfast Bentos

Sunday was a busy day for me I awas headed out to Napa with some of E's aunts for a lunch date and a day of tasting. I was very excited since it was my first trip to Napa and we all know how much I have come to love drinking wine.

Before I headed out for a fun in the sun Sunday I had to deal with household business. Not a lot . I just got the littles up and situated for the morning. I decided on a breakfast bento of waffles with syrup, yogurt with bunnies on top and a banana.

No comapling from LMG. He gobbled it right up!


That's a runny nose for BBD . He is not turning his nose up at his breakfast bento.

G's First School Picture!

OH  SO SWEET! My heart melted when I collected his  pictures yesterday . I can not believe how big my little has gotten. What do you think, do I have a future heartbreaker on my hands? I think so.

Preschool Art October 2009

Week of  10-12/ 10-16

The one and only project that came home this week. Very sparkly glitter painting. This is  the day he took his very first school picture.  So I picked this cute little pineapple polo from Crazy 8.

This Kid Has Kooties

A case of the kooties has hit our house with LMG coming down with pink eye on Friday afternoon. I picked him up for his tuff tumblers class at my moms and was shocked to see a collection of green yuck oozing from his left eye as well as a very swollen eye socket. Poor little! Since then its been a weekend of staying close to home while my little recovers and I run back and worth disinfecting everything and constantly washing my hands. Lets hope we all don't end up with it.

Preschool Art October 2009

So I thought I would Ask LMG what he thinks about his art work this is what I got:

 I make this with squishy... "squish, squish, squish " sound pointer finger and thumb pressed together like he was trying to reenact the painting tool experience.  Really it was coffee filter painting in some cool colors

Gabriel: "This is meatballs falling from the sky"

I can see that... a little  he had just seen the movie " Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" with E and D

Me: " Gabreil, What is this?"

Gabriel : " That's the monster that lives in my room"

YIKES! No wonder he has been crawling into bed with us at night.

Preschool Art- September Week Three 9/23-9/25, 09

More preschool art. Week after week I am waiting for something more interesting to emerge from these pieces of art, but so far we are getting the same patterns with varying colors.

Tough Tumbler

 I am really liking lmG's preschool. They offer an awesome parents night out twice a month and also the Tuff Tumblers program that I was eager to enroll  lmG in once it rolled around. He will be burning  up that never ending supply of energy that he has ( hopefully) and I think its fun for him to excercise. Here are some of the activities he did last friday. Stretching, pom pom play, cart wheel, sommersaults, and going through a tunnel Woo Hoo

Only one fantastic little master peice from last week. lmG was out sick one day last week so he did not do as much art work as usual.

Friday Fun

 

 

Leave a massage table out because you were being to lazy to put it away after the great massage your hubby gave you and this is what is sure to happen the next morning. Littles  using it as a make shift slide in the living room, along with their matching Spider man pals. I was waiting for the eventual toddler/ preschooler meltdown that would have resulted in either:
A: One or both littles getting hurt
B: One or both littles being put on time out

To my Friday off delight that never happened they  played happliy togehter long enough for me to snap these pictures then promptly put the table away before real trouble came my way.

A little Snack Attack

After work on Friday I was looking around the house for something quick and fun for the littles to munch on. My mom had sent home some ice cream sandwiches a week or so ago and I had two left... now what to do what t do that was the question.
