pasta noodles- strings and lemon parrapadelle
pasta sauce
lunch meat- salame and italian turkey
bread - cracked wheat sour dough
yogurt -vanana ... vanilla and banana . genius name :)
chips- whjite corn rounds and salt and pepper
ice cream - sublime ice cream sandwhiches and french vanilla -quart
canned OJ
bagged pasta dinner
brown rice
bananas

Not a lot these are the basic s in our house. Still need to head to Costco to do some shopping for:

chicken -whole and parts
ground turkey meat- a staple in my freezer
pork chops for when I want to mix it up

I can not really think of anything else that we need when we get there but you know how it is at Costco you walk in with a plan and walk out with a long list of items  you did not realize you needed. LOL

Heads Up! ALL of my X mas shopping was done on Dec 1. WOO HOO. I finished up with some Cyber Monday super deals. So glad I started shopping in August. I will need to make one fianl trip for a gift for E once I get his wish list.

Want It , But Can Not Have It

A complete and total splurge, not on myself but the littles.To be honest it caught my eye while at Best Buy because of the wild thing on the box. I loved Maurice Sendak's "Where The Wild Things are " growing up. When I saw the price tag I almost spit out my gum... seems kinda pricey for a collection of children's stories animated. Yeah, Yeah Scholastic Children's Treasury blah blah blah.

I sound like an awful mother I know but I can not justify spending that much on DVD's. The most money I have spent on dvds was the Godfather box set, but hello it's the Godfather arguably the best movie and sequel (not number 3, sorry) of all time. It should be in every single person with a pulses dvd collection . Foget about it.

Oh and E bought me the sex in the city collection once for my b day but that's different.. its SATC, another must have for any girlie girl.

I do think I will have to break down and go and get this for the boys especially when the weather gets cooler this fall and we are in the house for long hours cooped up because of rain... I am sure they will enjoy it then something new to watch besides noggin

Snaps from the Farmers Market

Here are some snaps from our trip to the Farmers Market a week or so ago. We found a cute little bakery that some of the moms in the CVMC were raving about and I must say they were right. I picked up a couple of pigs ina blanket for the littles along with a raspberry smiley face cookie and a raisin snail for myself. Very yummy. I learned on the CVMC message board that this bakery the Swiss Delice is opening another location in CV. very exciting news I really miss the old bakery in the village , and looking forward to going in more often and picking up some of their yummy baguettes and pastry's for the boys.

Trader Joes: Thursday

made a quick stop in at TJ's on Thursday to pick up some things we were needing in the house.

Cereal, lunch meats, turkey meat, pitas, dip and hummus , tortilla chips, juice, lumpia type rolls for a quick dinner option sometime this weekend.

Then dashed to my mommas to pick up my littles!

Hooray for the Spud Box!

A snap of my Spud Box on Wednesday. My box was missing the bananas , so made a quick call and they will be issuing a credit. Great customer service. Most companies should take note and learn from Spud!

I am realizing that I have entirely too much lettuce in my life so will be making some changes to the regular delivery and tweaking it a little. I also got some kiwis and tangelos this week. Thinking that if muddled together that will make fantastic cocktails(need to buy some booze) Smoothies (the littles will like that) marinade for a bbq (E will love that) and maybe even a sweet salsa ( E and I will love that with the cocktails) Hmmm... many possibilities this weekend to create in the kitchen. Raw Materials

I picked up the raw materials for the littles baskets about a week ago but I have so many photos on iphone I lost the snap from Target. I need to desperately clean out the photos and start fresh. Anyhoo, here is a snap of the items I gathered for the baskets this year. a pic of it all pulled together will be coming sometime tomorrow before the bunny( E ) hides them.

Cutsie Pasta For The Littles

I saw this super cute pasta @ Cost Plus World Market. I love Cost Plus, it remains one of my favorite stores and I try and pop in as often as I can to pick up something for the house or some sort of exotic snack for the littles and I. I knew lmG would love this pasta when he saw it and in fact he did . When I made him pasta earlier this week he insisted on the bunny pasta and so that is exactly what he had. I did save a bag for Easter day in case I want to whip up macaroni ( I mean Bunny salad)

Ross Run on Thursday!

On Thursday I pcked up some un necessary necessities @ Ross. Shoes, peasant top, barretts and a compost bin for under the sink.

Random snaps of the shopping this week. Monday PW market for dinner supplies, milk and littles snacks. Tuesday Trader Joes run for the major shopping. I also visited Daiso in Union City for bento/ toddler meal supplies.I made a target run in there this week but had no interesting pics to snap just pull ups.

Sunday ... Trader Joes

Decided to go back to Trader Joes to see if I can really make my grocery pennies stretch. I was so surprised and pleased to see that a weeks worth of food cost me about half of what I was spending at Safeway. I will be spending more of my grocery bucks back at Trader Joes and giving Safeway a break for awhile.

Safeway Run

Sweet Treats

Oh PW Market, one of my favorite stores. A major reason they have such a special place in my heart... The bakery. PW is my first choice to shop at if I have to bring dessert to a party or if I want a show stopper ending to a great party. I adore all of their treats and one thing that makes me happy and puts a smile on my face is walking into their store browsing the bakery display and picking out something fantastic.

Today I picked up some mini cannelloni and E and I.. just because.

Off to the market: Trader Joe's

After work I need to make quick run to Trader Joe's I needed some pantry items and something else for breakfast ... I am getting sick of kashi and fiber one bars. While there I picked up the following"
