Snaps from the Farmers Market

Here are some snaps from our trip to the Farmers Market a week or so ago. We found a cute little bakery that some of the moms in the CVMC were raving about and I must say they were right. I picked up a couple of pigs ina blanket for the littles along with a raspberry smiley face cookie and a raisin snail for myself. Very yummy. I learned on the CVMC message board that this bakery the Swiss Delice is opening another location in CV. very exciting news I really miss the old bakery in the village , and looking forward to going in more often and picking up some of their yummy baguettes and pastry's for the boys.

E was gone for a few days out of town for a school trip. I had a weekend full of littles love and attention. These are two of my favorite snaps from this weekend.

More to come ... forgot my camera cable at home today. Our weekend consisted of a trip to the farmers market, a play date at Super franks, a weekly trip to Target, a quick jaunt to the office ,lunch with Teeti Monica, kite flying, bike riding and finally playing in the sand at Canyon Middle School track, while I got in some exercise.

In the end it was a fun filled, frenzied weekend full of laughs and kisses with my two favorite boys. And hey, I survived single mommy-hood for a few days good for me!

Preschool Enrollment

We have have officially enrolled LMG in to preschool. He will start in September. We choose one of the co-ops in CV. Here is a snap of E sitting in a chair at the preschool. Kinda funny so I wanted to share.

Worn to be Wild

Last Wednesday I snagged a special invite to the Fab Sugar and the Sugar Girls Worn To Be Wild Event @ Saks Fifth Ave. in the city. I had a fabulous time. I was escorted by one of my oldest and dearest friends Carlos. We had a smashing time...
champange, laughs and clothes, oh my! Everything was out of my price range but it was fun to peruse the major designer labels. I saw the cutest DVF dress at a steep price of $550. Ouch. But, it was nice to admire on the rack. After the event at Saks, we hoped in a cab and headed over to a lounge and had some nibbles and champagne. Looking forward to our next night out in the city and another fabulous invite from the Sugar Network.

CV Stroll

Saturday took the littles for a stroll through CV. I live about a mile from my parents and thought today would be a perfect day to brave the rolling hills of CV.A mile later my butt muscles were burning but it was a fun adventure and the litles loved the walk. Once we got to my parents we chilled out , had a little lunch then trekked home again.

Sweet Tooth

I had a rotten sweet tooth on Thursday. I had some time to kill and was on the face whether to go starbucks and grab a latte or something sweet. My good friend Jessica suggested I drive over the hill to Dublin and visit Denicas. I was up for an adventure and an outing so motored over the hill to see what I could find. I was pleased. A cute little shop with a delicious bakery. I picked up a cupcake and a rocky road brownie (for my love)and then headed home to pick up my littles after my sweet treat.

Dinner Diaster

Leperchaun day came and it went. I of course wore green. Came home and whipped up a dimple meal for the littles and then headed to Chilis in SL for dinner with my cousin and her kids. The food was good but service afwul. I yelped it read here for the full story .

Sweet Treats

Oh PW Market, one of my favorite stores. A major reason they have such a special place in my heart... The bakery. PW is my first choice to shop at if I have to bring dessert to a party or if I want a show stopper ending to a great party. I adore all of their treats and one thing that makes me happy and puts a smile on my face is walking into their store browsing the bakery display and picking out something fantastic.

Today I picked up some mini cannelloni and E and I.. just because.

Off to the market: Trader Joe's

After work I need to make quick run to Trader Joe's I needed some pantry items and something else for breakfast ... I am getting sick of kashi and fiber one bars. While there I picked up the following"

I was searching out cupcakes because I had a sweet tooth and they did not have any. BOO HOO... oh well that led me to my next stop...

Snack Attack

Thursday after work I felt a little snackish. I made a few essential stops I have been needing to make. Spoke to a local jeweler about a project I am working on. Project Dazzle me as I like to call it. Then headed over to the local salon to catch up and schedule with the Chemical Queen Tara ( my stylist). Before picking up the little I decided to drive over the hill to Bayfair mall and make a caffeine stop at Starbucks. Picked up a yummy soy vanilla latte, tall I figure it's my night before my three day weekend I can stand to stay up a little later than usual.I had a small craving for something sweet and choose the toffee pecan cookie. This cookie is my absolute FAVORITE cookie at Starbucks. To make it more thrilling its not at each Starbucks. I only come across it from time to time so when I inquire about it and they have them in the stock I always snatch one up.
