Cupcake Love!

After a really truing but satisfying day yesterday I needed to treat myself to something decadent. I have been talking for a week now about wanting a cupcake. E had to run out for some milk and while he was there he picked up this outrageous cupcake from PW Market, from their gourmetcupcake line. Wooza! I was a little surprised by his selection but then again we have been together for almost 10 years so if anyone knows the combo to my bliss zone its E...Chocolate +Cupcake = happy happy Michelle. But not to fret I only ate half of this little chocolate lovliness and still on  the fence if I am going to nibble the rest today or give it to the littles

Sick Day

Just a quick post letting you know I have lots  to post about ( well not really, just weekend activities) Once I get over this funky little cold that has  happened upon me compliments of the littles I will be posting again. Now off to wallow in my own misery while at work  hopefully I can get to bed early tonight.

Passion Goodies

A pic of the free goodies I got from hosting my passion party last week. My order arrived yesterday. My Gf's and I had a great time. I got some other stuff but decided to keep this blog PG and not display it to the whole world... If you know what I mean LOL. So I got a cute little locking box for some unmentionables, a romantica therapy travel set, I ordered a minty cream and I also got some fun flash cards for ideas on achieving the "BIG O". There are 52 cards so maybe I will post the tips on my blog weekly for my readers... I am sure some people may find that helpful in some way right?

Desktop Pretty

How many of you do this.. running really late so you have to do the whole make up thing at your desk at work? This has been the way its been going for about a month now. I have found that I can sleep in a little longer if I do my make up at my desk. Since I am up so freaking early and its dark when I leave the house I really don't care bout running out with out eyeshadow, mascara, and lip gloss on. But I don't let the morning go to long with out applying my normal everyday make up. It helps me feel awake and ready for the day. I have noticed days that I don't wear mascara and lip gloss I have a case of the blahs.I hate blahs. Less blahs more lip gloss!

Fall Shopping

My littles are still too young for back to school shopping. But I still love to stock up on wardrobe yummy-ness this time of year. I of course can not afford anything I am about to post... well maybe one or two of these things but in the next few weeks I will be window shopping through my blog on pieces I am lusting after, things I will never get and items I have picked up for the upcoming season.

Pamper Me Night At Home

My penny pinching has resulted in my giving myself my own mani pedis for awhile. I try and indulge myself weekly but life and time and mama maintenance gets a way from a girl when you are chasing down two littles. The only problem with doing your own at home ... I am sick of all of my color options at this point. So yesterday I took it way back retro style and mixed my own color. I use to do this when I was young like in middle school.


My color options. E offered to help. He is an auto body painter by trade adn is pretty good at mixing and creating colors. He asked what I was looking for I gave him a color and he came up with the recipe.



A little base coat,shiny purple on top . I LOVE OPI colors because the coverage is awesome and of course a fan of OPI knows that its all about the names of the colors right?










Fantastic! Nothing makes me feel quite as girlie as when I have painted toes and fingertips,to make my night even better I sipped Pellagrino out of the bottle, nibbled on dark chocolate and when my nails were dry I hit the hay @7:30. Lovely ending to a stressful Monday.

Happy Thursday

Taking a late morning at the office. My morning latte always tastes better when I can relax and enjoy it, not chug it down because of some office melodrama.

Updates: lmg starts preschool today. He's officially a busy bee! So sweet!

My beloved uncle passed away yesterday. After a good cry yesterday I am feeling better. He will be missed. I love you uncle john.

Appointment with the chemical queen this afternoon. Curlie girlie has roots :(

Monterey trip booked Disney postponed.
Need to find day spa in Monterey for tandem massage sessions.

Big brother starts tonight so excitied the return of summer television

Sitting at starbucks listening to the song from wall- e I think originally hello dolly and thinking about my littles happy faces when it comes on.

Date night tomorrow night...
Busy weekend ahead and then a three day week next week. Looking forward to sneaking away with E!

New Hobby: Walking Cocktails

Night two of my new hobby: walking cocktails. Fun times strolling the streets of cv firming up our backsides, chit chatting and then relaxing with a drink or two at one of the local watering holes. Bars are totally not my thing but it's better with friends.




Here's to my walking group next round is on me!




Seems we are drinking more than walking but it makes for a fun filled night of laughs!

New Bag!

Guess where my darling E took me last week?






I have been needing somthung posh for awhile. It's been way too long since I dropped some cash on myself. The time came and I had a ball picking out just the right bag. It's yummy! Large enough to be a proper working mommy in the go bag. Gorgeous enough to add to my wardrobe and not seen enough to still make it a special . Sometimes you see the same people using the same bag or shoes and ur gets boring. I am happy to say I have yet to spot my bag on anyone else's shoulder.

Viola! My new favorite thing in my wardrobe. This will be bag number 20 still in my collection. A couple of years ago I had to let go of a large collection of bags I had accumulated over the years. Once upon a time o owned over 60 bags. A lot I know but I did not earn the nickname CVpursegirl for nothing!
