This shampoo and conditioner.. and deep cleaning shampoo. I found them at my favorite discount store at a steal of a deal. My curls have been needing some curl therapy. Here's a quick fabmama review: LOVE THEM. My curls look awesome and I am a happy camper.

Market Run This Week

I stopped in at the local Safeway this week to pick up some items for dinner. I made fish tacos on Tuesday and of course forgot to snap a pic and blog about it but here are some of the ingredients I used.

Cole Slaw- I did not feel like chopping cabbage on Tuesday so I took the lazy way out
A bunch of cilantro- for flavoring and garnish
Frozen Tilapia- Because they were in a chimichurri sauce and like I said I was feeling lazy.
A lime- for flavor, sorry it was a Tuesday no Coronas
Horizon Little Blends Yogurts- I have not seen these before and I was intrigued by the flavor combo banana and sweet potato? We will see if its good. Keep an eye out for a fabmama review in the near future

What A Steal

Yeah yeah that's what all of the home shopping networks say to pedel their goods but this time it was a steal! I recently went to a hostess party ... Two words starts with a P ends in House and I was lusting after their ultra chic stainless steel cook set. I held of because the price wad kinda steep. They were selling a 6 piece set for like $400 WAY out of my kitchen budget. Two weeks ago I was bored channel surfing and who do I run into on HSN ... Emeril... Dang! BAM!

I was quite enticed by his cooking skills and the price of his 12 piece stainless steel set $150 plus free shopping! Say what? I was on it like bees on honey. 3 days later my set arrived like woah super fast and looking fantastic on my pot rack. They cook great and I am so glad I waited and got a much better deal ...did I tell you they came with a set of pairing knives? Well they did ... BAM!

New Bag!

Guess where my darling E took me last week?






I have been needing somthung posh for awhile. It's been way too long since I dropped some cash on myself. The time came and I had a ball picking out just the right bag. It's yummy! Large enough to be a proper working mommy in the go bag. Gorgeous enough to add to my wardrobe and not seen enough to still make it a special . Sometimes you see the same people using the same bag or shoes and ur gets boring. I am happy to say I have yet to spot my bag on anyone else's shoulder.

Viola! My new favorite thing in my wardrobe. This will be bag number 20 still in my collection. A couple of years ago I had to let go of a large collection of bags I had accumulated over the years. Once upon a time o owned over 60 bags. A lot I know but I did not earn the nickname CVpursegirl for nothing!

I got a few new things peaches and artichokes, Picked up our favorite new juice and the yummy Grace Baking bread. I somehow deleted my donuts this week. HMM, not sure how I did that but I did LmG was looking for them yesterday and was very upset when he realized we were not going to have any this week.

MOO Cards ... So Cute

I found these fantastic mini business card while exploring flickr. They are actually made by a company called MOO.


I think the idea is fantastic. I am sure you can make business cards all shapes and sizes but I am using these as gift tags. I thought it would be a different and unique not to mention cute and fabulous way to get a gift from our family.

I am always looking for stand out ideas, and gifts.. .wrapping etc. so this takes it to that level. I adore these I think they are ultra chic and classy. I used photos from my flickr photostream and also a few shots from our photo shoot with Tanya Mally A talented photographer and friend in the East Bay. You get 100 mini business cards for $19.99. I think very affordable since they will last me a very long time. It is also like a bonus gift when you receive this gift tag. You can keep it, post it on the fridge or put it where ever. I heart these.


The sentiment actually reads: From us to you best wishes! then the next line lists our names ect. Sorry so blurry I could not get ot that clear and the picnik feature on flickr was not helping today.

Did I say I was apron obsessed? Further proof

I am apron obsessed ,rather it's an Etsy obsession. I really need to stay away from that site every time I go on I find something I want. Darn those crafters and sewers!So my latest find another cute apron, this time a craft one... Did I tell you I am like craft obsessed, it must be all the blogging and Etsy shopping.


So cute huh? I love the little flower accent and the funky pom-poms and prints. When E saw it he laughed and said that this was by far the most indulgent Etsy purchase yet, but I love it!

I'm back after a busy week of little care taking and single mommmy status. Massage was busy this last week and I did not have achance to sit and do proper blogging.

made a quick stop in at TJ's on Thursday to pick up some things we were needing in the house.

Cereal, lunch meats, turkey meat, pitas, dip and hummus , tortilla chips, juice, lumpia type rolls for a quick dinner option sometime this weekend.

Then dashed to my mommas to pick up my littles!

Absolute Bliss Massage With Michelle Massage

My new T-Shirts and business cards arrived in the mail today. I am doing an event on this next upcoming Monday for a neighboring mothers club and I thought a cute looking T-Shirt would help brand my business and make me stand out at the event. The logo on the shirts, cards and my website match. I thought about publishing my website on here but then thought again not to do it since I don't want to publish my telephone number on my blog.




Not the most becoming pic but this was after a long day at work and dinner was on the stove so I had to model it quickly. I think its cute on.

Raw Materials

I picked up the raw materials for the littles baskets about a week ago but I have so many photos on iphone I lost the snap from Target. I need to desperately clean out the photos and start fresh. Anyhoo, here is a snap of the items I gathered for the baskets this year. a pic of it all pulled together will be coming sometime tomorrow before the bunny( E ) hides them.

Cutsie Pasta For The Littles

I saw this super cute pasta @ Cost Plus World Market. I love Cost Plus, it remains one of my favorite stores and I try and pop in as often as I can to pick up something for the house or some sort of exotic snack for the littles and I. I knew lmG would love this pasta when he saw it and in fact he did . When I made him pasta earlier this week he insisted on the bunny pasta and so that is exactly what he had. I did save a bag for Easter day in case I want to whip up macaroni ( I mean Bunny salad)

A Week of Etsy Shopping

Believe it or not I am not a crafty person. I can not sew a stitch, paint a pic or anything even remotely close. However, I excel in shopping! The day I discovered Etsy was a fabulous day. It's an online market where you can buy and sell all things that are handmade. Love it! An old daycare kids mom turned me on to the site and I frequent it often for special gifts, or just everyday indulgences that I adore. Last week I made 3 purchases and they finally arrived.

I also picked up two aprons. One shown and one I got for massage purposes and I will blog about later. It kinda goes with my business cards and website and it was a steal @ $8 so I could not pass it up, the chances of me finding another that would match my logo so closely are slim to none.

My most favorite purchase off of Etsy this week was my flowered apron.
I got the Emma's practical pocket apron from here a very cute shop are very affordable prices.

When my flowered apron arrived from My Mom Would BE Proud it came wrapped up and came with a recipe card handwritten out. The recipe was for chocolate chip cake. It really had that special touch of extra that you never find anymore another great reason to shop Etsy. People on there take so much pride in their work and the time and love that goes into the projects you purchase really shows.


And since I logged into my Etsy account to get the name of the store for the flowered apron here is a pic of my craft/ massage apron


The flowers and colors are pretty close to my massage logo so it was a had to have.

On Thursday I pcked up some un necessary necessities @ Ross. Shoes, peasant top, barretts and a compost bin for under the sink.

Weekly Shopping

Random snaps of the shopping this week. Monday PW market for dinner supplies, milk and littles snacks. Tuesday Trader Joes run for the major shopping. I also visited Daiso in Union City for bento/ toddler meal supplies.I made a target run in there this week but had no interesting pics to snap just pull ups.

The Weekend Run Down

Here is a brief run down of my weekend.

E and I met for lunch on Friday. It was fun having alone time together in the middle of the day. We must do that again SOON!
I ran out of gas early on Friday and instead of taking the littles SuperFranks , we made it a DVD night after they fell asleep
Had a SuperFranks playdate on Saturday Instead.
E made a fantastic Friday dinner... I contributed salad boats
Visited my very goods friends Adriannas new baby boy SOO CUTE. I forgot how small they are I almost wanted to give it a go again....almost
Finished a great bottle of wine on Saturday with my honey and then he had a guys night out.
My mom watched the littles on Sunday while my sis and I took in lunch and shopping
Was so lucky to score free sitting from my sis for Sunday night, she even did laundry, cleaned lmG's room and dishes! WOO HOO
We had a Sunday night date night. We double dated with C and R . As always Buffalo Bills rocks... movie we chosse eehh. funny but dragged along.

All in all a fun filled weekend!
