Scribbles and brainstorming
I scribble and doodle and I color. Yes, I still color. I have been thinking of getting some kind of art project going for the littles and their rooms. I have been thinking canvas and some kinda crayons although I may get bold with it and attempt painting. I was brain storming some possible ideas. I'm much better with my funny little animals and other random scribbles then actual people characters so we will see what I can dream up and when.
Day 29 - something I'm listening to
Downton Abbey. I love the music, the costume, the drama of it all. I am so glad to have found this lovely show. Its a gem.

Little man
A smile should be curling your lips right about now. When my little came prancing out of his room this weekend dressed for his play date I could not help and laugh and giggle. He's getting so big. This morning I took him to school we got there early and he wanted to race. There was no one else there but he wanted to practice his skills so I gave him his mark , told him to get set and then gave him his go. he ran as quickly as he could very determined to improve. I like his drive, his fervor and his passion. He's a good boy. Sometimes bratty always full of mischief but always very sweet. Everything you could ever want in a little boy.

Daily Covet
Source: Uploaded by user via Michelle on Pinterest
where have i been? with my daily covets, my project bubble bath, and project be a better baker.Well, life has been busy. ups and downs a few changes a few moments of holding my breath and breathing a small sigh of relief. anyhoo, im still here and i'm still coveting. so lets get on with it.
i wear spectacles. at first i was not such a fan but then over the years they grew on me.they are part of my look. big curly hair, a fab bag, lip gloss, earrings and spectacles. when i came across these i caught myself ohhh-ing with glee. they are lovely. big thick, shaped perfectly in a spectacular retro vintage kinda way. i love the rhinestone sides. They would add just the bit of sparkle and pizzazz my boarding on boring wardrobe needs.

Day 20- my handwriting
One of the many on the go notes I write to myself. If I'm not jotting it down on paper, in my calendar I'm sending myself an email. The list of things I always need to do can be overwhelming but I get through it.

There is so much that made me smile today
This morning my door bell rang unexpectedly. I answered only to find the a delivery of beautiful blooms with the sweetest card attached.
When my sons told me they like the man I'm seeing. It made me smile.
Watching my son read his valentines he was very excited.

Three things
My handsome son singing in his preschool brunch performance. I luv him and I am in awe of his small quiet perfection.
The boys sneaking all of the candy valentines out of the preschoolers mail box taking the candy leaving the valentines unread or cared for
Reading an email from my cousins in Hawaii. The way one said click on da link you know da kin. It brought a high smile to my face and I laughed in recognition of a favorite phrase . And yes I did just steal that from the cure and their song strange attraction. It's a personal favorite. When it comes on the play list it gets turned up and I day dream and sing loudly. Remembering when I discovered the song. It was while I lived in this house. As a girl I learned of the cure. And I fell in love.

The littles have been sick. Sick littles means cabin fever for them and for me. In an attempt to keep the outbreak monkeys at bay I had some on going shuffle centers in the garage/ play room / office.
Play doh
Legos
Coloring
Easel art
Games
Action figures
They got a chance to play with everything. I set the timer on my phone and every 20 minutes they shuffle to the next activity. It worked well for awhile. And would you know when I went in the house to clean up a little a certain kinder kid came in to show me his mixed media art work.
Never a break I tell ya.
The play office as we at my little best like to call it is working well. The littles spend lots of time in their keeping their "work" or as my mom would call it their mess outta the house!
I want to add a few elements to the space a little book shelf we can share a play rug you know the ones that look like a race track for their cars and maybe a bean bag. They do love playing in their and when I'm cooking in the kitchen I can keep an eye on them. All of our art and play happens in the play office. It's the best use of garage I could come up with.

because purses are kinda my thing. ask anyone who really knows me. my love for bags and purses started at a very young age. I have a little picture of me toting a silly little bag when i was a wee-licious lass. i have always loved purses, pouches, make up bags , pencil boxes , lunch boxes. if you can keep something in it and take it with you when you go i'm a fan. once upon a time i had a seriously fabulous collection of purses and bags. Over 50 to be exact. my love for purses runs deep. i still have a truck in my office/ garage / playroom filled with much loved ones i cant part with. I used to rotate purses out daily, weekly, monthly. my life is too busy for that level of frivolousness as my dad would call it. I do however make sure I always stop and peep the purses. okay now on to this little bag. the color the hardware and snap. the fact that you can grab it and go or strap it on. everything for this little etsy shop is delightful and lovely. i wish i could go on a fabulous little splurge and pick up a few things there... and maybe another posh little shop i have stumbled upon. as a mommy i really can not practically get such a tiny little bag. i need more room for stuff. but it is lovely.

Listen. Do you hear it? Do you hear these fabulous little frocks calling my name?
Michelle don't you luv us? Don't you want to have us in your wardrobe.
Why yes. Of course I do. The whimsy and fun of this vintage feeling line by Jason Wu for Target is so very Michelle. I love most of the line but could only choose a few to share and day dream over. I did get up early on Sunday and I was going to mosey on over to my local tar-jay and see what was doing but I did not want to happen across a missoni target mess so I thought I would leave it alone. I am however feeling a tad regretful. As each of these items would have added the snap crackle pop that my wardrobe has been missing for a little bit. Damn!! Why was I so lazy on Sunday. Dreadful sleeping in. I hate when I missing something. I'm tempted to online shop but think it best to hold off.

The tweets
I tweet. Yea, that's right I said it. I'm micro blogger. It's an silly obsession or it's a take it or leave it situation. It all depends on the day really. Some days moments of tweeting brilliance pop from my finger tips. Sometimes I'm straight up bored. What I have discovered is that tweeting is like saying out loud all the things that randomly pop in my head that I just don't say to myself. Example. The other day I forgot how to load my mechanical pencil. Something I have not done since 5th grade. So, once I figured it out I obviously tweeted my moment of victory. Did anyone care? Probably not. Who in the hell really cares about the random moments? I'm yet to discover this. I do have a little twitter following though. My tweets sometimes get retweeted, to someone else's followers which is fresh it gains blog readership and followings. I like that. I have made a few online "friendships" with legitimate bloggers and really after reading people's tweets checking out their instagrams or reading their blogs you kinda feel like you sorta know them. It shrinks the world down a bit. I think that is awesome.

Day 4: stranger
I happened across this little fellow while walking out of my new favorite coffee house. He was perched ever so patiently watching the morning late birds get their daily fix of coffee. I stopped and said hello. We had a moment this kitty and I. He knew I was one of his kind. A cat person. He gave me a nudge and tipped his chin at me while I snapped this shot and thought of my long lost fur baby pumpkin. I acknowledged the soft strength if this urban lion and then we bid each other Adieu. I spoke to his person. She said no leash is needed he just follows her in her walks and they often visit the cafe where he watches people and sits in the sunny spot. I told her he must
have been a person in his past life. She said or a dog. But I think by the looks of him and the way he hung out at the door of the cafe he was a person.
